Consumer Reports

The Consumer Reports organization not recommend iPhone 4 Apple due to problems of coverage of the mobile phone consumers, and has pointed out that the mobile operator AT & T is not necessarily the main culprit. The influential American organization non-profit, which publishes guides for products like cars and televisions, said in a report published on Monday, 12 July 2010 that it had examined the iPhone 4 and other phones – as the iPhone 3GS and the Palm Pre – and found that none has the problems of loss of signal that the latest model of Apple suffers. The report is the last setback for the apparatus, which has sold 1.7 million units in three days, but that it has been dogged by complaints about poor reception of the signal. Many of the complaints have to do with the antenna, that is said to reduce the signal strength to hold the phone in a certain position. The company has been sued by the iPhone users in at least three cases that relate to antenna problems.

Consumer organization noted that its tests indicated that the network of AT & T is not the primary responsibility of the iPhone 4 reception problems. Apple has pointed out that almost all mobile phones suffer signal loss if it is held in a particular way.
